Exploring Cambridge > Music in Cambridge
The Corn Exchange stages shows featuring many types of popular music.

West Road Concert Hall is an excellent venue for classical music, including performances by many university orchestras and music groups which are of a high standard.

The Junction is an arts venue with an eclectic programme of live music as well as club events, comedy, theatre and dance.

If you enjoy choral singing, it is worth attending a service sung by one of the college choirs, such as Kingís, St Johnís or Christís.

In addition to events at these major venues, there is a wide variety of other performances put on by students, residents and visiting artists. The Cambridge Concert Calendar provides comprehensive coverage of what's on. Or look at the posters put up on one of the many ad hoc 'railings' sites around Cambridge, such as outside Great St Mary's church in the centre of town.
